Elected member professional development register

The WA State Government and the City recognise that ongoing professional development for elected members is crucial in addressing complex local government responsibilities and ensuring the sustainability and well-being of the community. 

Requirements 

The Local Government Act 1995 requires the City to prepare a report for each financial year on the training completed by elected members in that financial year. 

Register

The reports outline mandatory training that is required to be undertaken by elected members under the Local Government Act 1995 as well as any training and development provided under the City’s Elected Members’ Entitlements Policy.
