The artists
Kav Temperley
Needing no introduction, Kav fronts one of Western Australia's most successful music exports - Eskimo Joe.
Successfully straddling mainstream commercial success, while keeping their alt-music roots secure, Kav and the band have racked up a list of impressive stats, with three albums debuting at #1 on the ARIA charts, juggernaut single “Black Fingernails, Red Wine” shining for 62 weeks in the Top 50, and “Foreign Land” bringing home 2 APRA Awards for Most Played Rock Song on Australian radio and Best Rock Song of 2010.
Fanny Lumsden
With two ARIAs and nine Golden Guitars under her belt, Fanny is an alt-country songstress who's become a household name right across Australia.
She’s best known for her songs ‘Bravest of Hearts’, ‘Land of Gold’ and ‘Great Divide’, singing about life on the land, and her experience of growing up and living in rural New South Wales.
Karen Lee Andrews
Karen has earned her stripes as one of the country’s hardest working live performers - something that those lucky enough to see her at Joondalup Festival 2024's ARETHA concert can attest to.
The Australian soul powerhouse has been surrounded by music her entire life, influenced by gospel sounds and her Polynesian background. In recent years her musicality has evolved, now leaning more towards rhythmic blues with a nod to dirty rock and power ballads.
Charlie Collins
An exciting talent out of Sydney, Charlie has been making big waves in the Aussie music scene.
The alt-country prodigy's much anticipated sophomore album, Undone, veers into rhythmic '80s rock, contempo soul balladry, and slick power-pop – rivalling Taylor Swift.
