About the Youth Awards
The City of Joondalup Youth Awards support young people to further their studies beyond Year 10. The award is to the value of $1,000.
Categories
There are two award categories:
- ATAR
- General education students including VET and alternative education programs, such as TAFE.
Eligibility
Eligibility requirements include:
- Any student aged between 15 - 18 years, currently in year 10 or equivalent studying at an educational institution within the City of Joondalup.
- The student must be a resident of the City of Joondalup.
- Students can apply as an individual or be nominated by an educational institution.
- The educational institution must complete the “Confidential Report” for each application.
- The educational institution must complete the Educational Institution – Financial Information Form.
- The student is ineligible if they are in receipt of another academic scholarship over the value of $500.
