About club funded upgrades

The Club Funded Upgrade (CFU) application process provides direction for local organisations and lessees seeking to upgrade a venue that they hire or lease from the City, where the City has no funding involvement for the proposed works. This application process is designed to ensure that there is an identified need for the project and that all required approvals and licences are granted before the upgrade commences. This prevents the potential for any expensive remedial work required at the completion of the project by the organisation or lessee.

Past projects

Examples of successful past projects include:

  • Installation of a defibrillator.
  • Installation of external lock box.
  • Installation of solar panels.
  • Installation of memorabilia.
  • Installation of electronic scoreboards.
