The City owns a number of sites in freehold and also manages land on behalf of State Government.
The City reviews the land it owns and manages periodically to establish whether the uses are still appropriate and provide an optimal overall benefit to the City and its residents.
In general terms, reporting to Elected Members on land investigations is generally done via the Major Projects and Finance Committee (Committee), with these meetings taking place every two months from March until November. Should the Committee recommend a course of action, the Council’s support is required. View council minutes and agendas.
