The City would like to inform visitors of planned upgrades to the Reid Promenade Car Park (between Boas Ave and Reid Promenade) from Wednesday 23 April-Sunday 27 April 2025. Entry and exit of the car park will be reduced to one lane during this period.
Please note the car park will be closed from Friday 25 April 2025, reopening Monday 28 April 2025.
Important information
- Existing access card holders will be provided a new access card, required for use from Monday 28 April 2025.
- The carpark will now be cash free, accepting payment via phone, debit and credit card only.
- The meters remain paperless, requiring a vehicle registration number to be keyed in before payment and a digital receipt will be available upon request.
