Kids will rule the roost when Little Feet Festival returns to the grounds of Edith Cowan University on Sunday 13 October.

This year’s event is all about farming, gardening and growing, with Joondalup Mayor Albert Jacob encouraging city slickers and country connoisseurs alike to get into the spirit of the occasion by putting on their boots and straw hats for five hours of family-friendly shenanigans.

Perth’s favourite FREE children’s festival will again deliver a day of laughter, learning and loads of activities!

There is something for farmers of all ages.

Kids can learn how to milk a cow (with no risk of spilt milk), climb aboard a tractor, make delicious healthy treats, play in a mini growers’ market and warehouse, discover the wonderful world of bees, dig for worms and learn about composting.

St Stephen’s School Farm will give visitors a chance to explore their favourite farming nursery rhymes. Can you help Little Bo Beep find her sheep?  While there, make sure you explore Mary, Mary Quite Contrary’s Garden and Old McDonald’s farm.

Creative? Artistic? Get crafty and make a farmyard friend, a wacky windmill, a trash tractor, a crazy cowboy hat, or a peg veggie patch to take home!

Join the experienced and engaging team at Little Lions Play to discover the power of play in learning and language development. Plus, keep an eye out for Lionel the Lion.

There will also be plenty of stage shows throughout the day, face painting, roving sheep, scarecrows, and many more fun activities.

“As well as being the one day of the year where children rule the roost, Little Feet traditionally marks the start of the City’s summer events season,” Mayor Jacob said.

“Little Feet never fails to deliver an engaging program of fun, creative learning activities in a safe and friendly environment and I look forward to seeing families from across Perth in attendance once more.”

Little Feet Festival is sponsored by major partner St Stephen’s School and key partner Little Lions Speech and Occupational Therapy.

Little Feet Festival will be held at ECU Joondalup Pines, 10am-3pm. *No live animals
