In response to feedback from some members of the community the City of Joondalup Council considered a report on the ePermit system at its meeting date on Tuesday 25 March 2025. Council’s decision resulted in the following key updates:
- The ePermit transition period has been extended to Monday 30 June 2025.
- For residential accounts that have already transitioned and those transitioning between Tuesday 1 April 2025 and Saturday 31 May 2025, the City will waive the fee for the third (paid) permit, valid for 12 months.
- Eligible service agencies that have already transitioned and those transitioning between Tuesday 1 April 2025 and Saturday 31 May 2025 will receive a fee waiver for the 'service provider' permit, valid for 12 months.
