Joondalup Libraries have partnered with the State Government's Switch your Thinking (SYT) Energy Efficient Pilot Program to support residents and local small to medium businesses in building energy literacy and implementing energy efficiency measures in their homes and businesses.
Energy audit kits are now available for a 7-day loan from all City of Joondalup Libraries to help you measure the energy efficiency of your home or business.
Each kit contains a thermal camera, power monitor, water flow measuring equipment and a manual full of instructions and energy saving tips.
The Energy audit kits can be reserved through the Library catalogue. You must provide photo ID and your library card to borrow a kit. If you are not a library member, please visit your closest branch with some photo ID showing your name and current address to join the library. You can then borrow the kit if it is available, or place a reservation.

Win an in-home energy audit
All who engage in the SYT program by attending a workshop or borrowing an energy kit, and completing a survey, will be in the running to win an in-home audit valued at between $350 and $500. Visit the SYT website for further information.
