Quotations, purchasing and procurement

Supplier engagement and procurement policies

The City engages with suppliers to acquire a diverse range of goods and services, which can be obtained through direct purchase, quotation, and tender processes. The City may also engage suppliers via WALGA preferred supplier panels and State Government Common Use Arrangements.

All purchases are completed in accordance with the relevant legislation, the City’s Purchasing Policy, Statement of Business Ethics and associated internal policies (see below).

Quotations and purchasing process

The City obtains quotations for purchases between $5,000 and $250,000. Purchases below $5,000 are obtained via direct purchase.
